Job Description:

As a Staff Bioinformatics Scientist, you will help lead the Assay Design informatics activities for the Molecular Diagnostics Portfolio. Daily activities will vary depending on specific product or platform needs, but require working cross-functionally with our assay development teams. The primary responsibilities are related to population genomics, amplicon-based NGS analysis, analysis data generated on PCR-based platforms, and cloud-based computing.How You'll Make An Impact:

• Implementation of SW and algorithms to improve on our in-house Assay Design Engine
• Developing Bioinformatics methods/tools to support Biomarker discovery activities.
• Deploy analysis methods and organize datasets using AWS cloud resources.
• Perform detailed analysis and communicate findings to a broad audience.What You Bring:
  • Education: M.S. or PhD in a related field (Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Software, Data Science)
  • Work Experience: 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience developing/deploying NGS analysis pipelines in HPC or cloud environments.
  • Strong Python programming experience preferred.
