knowledge and skills. We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Instructional Designer to join our functional/technical training
team. In this role you will be responsible for developing and
designing engaging and effective training materials through
collaboration with subject matter experts, trainers, and other team
members.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Training program design: Lead the design and development of
comprehensive training programs to address the learning objectives
and organizational goals. Types of programs include skill journeys,
role curriculums, certification programs, and course series.
- Content development and curation: Develop and curate
instructional materials with an emphasis on e-learning modules as
well as the ability to design other training formats.
- Needs analysis and assessment: Conduct thorough needs analysis
to identify training needs, determine gaps, and define learning
objectives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and
performance improvement goals.
- Content creation: Create and edit written content, graphics,
multimedia elements, and other resources to enhance the
effectiveness of training materials.
- Instructional design strategies: Apply advanced instructional
design methodologies, adult learning principles, and industry best
practices to create engaging and effective learning experiences
across various modalities.
- Collaboration with stakeholders: Collaborate closely with
subject matter experts, trainers, and key stakeholders to gather
content, review materials, and ensure the accuracy and relevance of
training programs.
- Evaluation and continuous improvement: Conduct regular
evaluations of training programs, gather feedback from learners and
trainers, and analyze performance metrics to make data-driven
improvements and enhancements.
- Project management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously,
ensuring timely delivery of high-quality training materials within
budget constraints.
- Stay updated: Continuously research and stay abreast of
industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in
instructional design and adult learning theory to incorporate
innovative approaches into training programs.QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design,
Education, or a related field, OR relevant certifications in
instructional design or e-learning development.
- 4-5 years of progressive experience in instructional design,
preferably in a functional/technical training environment, with a
proven track record of designing and implementing successful
training programs.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in e-learning authoring software
such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools.
Experience with Open edX is a plus.
- Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and multimedia
development software.
- Strong communication and presentation skills: Excellent written
and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with
subject matter experts, trainers, and stakeholders. Ability to
present complex ideas and concepts in a clear and concise
manner.
- Strategic thinking: Strategic thinking and problem-solving
skills to analyze training needs, identify innovative solutions,
and drive performance improvement.
- Project management: Demonstrated project management skills,
including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and
meet deadlines.
- Adaptability and innovation: Proactive approach to learning and
applying new technologies, instructional design trends, and
emerging methodologies to enhance training programs.ADDITIONAL

Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $165,000.00The salary offered to a
selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including
location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience,
and with consideration of internal equity of our current team
members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package,
candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as
participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as
