This highly visible Education Department position focuses on
home-based nursing and clinical excellence, and will allow you

Schedule:
Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm
Flexible, hybrid schedule, typically 2-3 days onsite
Periodic travel for virtual and onsite training in Larkspur,
Sonoma, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Pleasanton

Summary:
The Clinical Educator is responsible for the development,
implementation, and evaluation of clinical learning and development
programs to meet quality, patient care and other organizational
goals. The role leverages advanced nursing knowledge, home-based
care experience and community resources to build curricula that
improves performance and generates professional advancement across
all service lines, roles and regions. The position also helps
coordinate and advance student placement opportunities and
collaborates with others to promote and maintain a culture of
learning and clinical excellence.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (and are not limited
to):
Independently and collaboratively curates, designs and delivers
engaging, results-driven curricula to enhance quality, patient care
and transdisciplinary team performance.
Serves as the nursing clinical expert, upholding and reinforcing
skills, organizational standards and expectations.
Facilitates continuing education (CE) opportunities to advance
clinical practice.
Participates in Education Steering Committee to help foster
continuous improvement in clinical care delivery and service
quality.
In collaboration with Nursing Skills Trainers, ensures a regular
cadence of hands-on nursing skills building opportunities across
all sites and regions.
Education/Experience:
BSN required, MSN preferred.
Hospice, Home Health and Palliative Care, ideally with adult and
pediatric patient populations, strongly preferred.
5 years of field experience, preferably in a home-based healthcare
setting, providing clinical services in the areas of
life-threatening and chronic illness.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical education and
coaching.
2 years demonstrated knowledge of organizational effectiveness,
change management and large-scale change preferred.
Experience coordinating Continuing Education events in alignment
with the California Board of Registered Nursing and California
Department of Public Health strongly preferred.
Experience curating and creating clinical education resources,
including videos, tip-sheets and other materials strongly
preferred.
Knowledge of Continuing Education requirements and programs for
nurses and home health aides, preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Registered Nurse in California with current licensure to practice
professional nursing within the state.
Certification in wound care, hospice/palliative care or related
specialty strongly preferred
Pay Range:
$56.00 - $69.00 hourly
