The Marketing Communications Manager at One Planet Group is integral to managing and elevating the presence of One Planet Group and its subsidiaries. Reporting directly to the Head of Communications & PR, this role involves crafting engaging content, media outreach and driving all internal and external communication initiatives.Location: Fully In Office Walnut Creek, CA, Key Responsibilities:

• Social Media Management: Oversee and enhance the content strategy across various social media channels, ensuring alignment with our corporate branding and communication goals.
• Content Development: Produce compelling content and website that resonates with our diverse audience and supports our marketing objectives.
• Internal Communication: Lead the creation of internal newsletters, ensuring timely and relevant corporate updates are shared within the organization, while working closely with the Human Resources department in various employee related initiatives.
• Public Relations: Identify and develop PR opportunities for One Planet Group and its CEO & founder, Payam Zamani, including pitching for awards, securing speaking engagements, contributing op-eds and more.
• Special Projects & Programs: Coordinate a variety of internal and external special projects and programs, ensuring they reflect One Planet's values and enhance brand visibility.
• Analytics and Reporting: Regular reporting of content performance with a proactive approach.Candidate Profile:
  • Experience Required: At least 5 years in marketing and communication strategy, media relations, and event planning, with a proven track record of managing multiple communication channels.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to strategize, implement, and pivot communication plans swiftly in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to craft stories that engage and inform.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience managing all social media platforms, analytics tools, as well as content creation tools like Canva.
  • Trend Awareness: A keen understanding of evolving communication trends and the ability to apply this knowledge to elevate our brand.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality and accurate work.Attributes:
